Hello, everyone! It’s time for another weekly update from JTH Electrics. We’ve had a busy and productive week working on various projects and ensuring our clients have safe and efficient electrical systems. Let’s dive into the details of what we accomplished this week.
Monday – Driveway Lights and Junction Box Maintenance
On Monday, we started the week by replacing the driveway lights for one of our valued clients. We installed brand new, energy-efficient lights to enhance their home’s curb appeal and security. Additionally, we made sure to maintain secure, dry connections in the junction boxes by using a high-quality gel to protect the electrical connections.
Tuesday – Hedsor Social Club, Kitchen LED Lights, and Garden Spike Lights
Tuesday was a day of diverse projects. We first visited Hedsor Social Club, where we installed additional lighting to create a more welcoming and well-lit atmosphere for their patrons. Next, we upgraded a customer’s kitchen with modern LED recessed lights, providing them with improved lighting and energy savings. Lastly, we installed garden spike lights for another client, enhancing the beauty of their outdoor space.
Wednesday – Consumer Unit Upgrade and More
Wednesday brought us a significant project: a consumer unit upgrade. We replaced an old consumer unit with a new RCBO board equipped with surge protection, ensuring our client’s home is safeguarded against electrical surges. We also installed an electrical radiator, relocated some sockets, and added additional sockets to enhance the functionality of a study area.
Thursday – Ongoing Refurbishment and Starlink Installation
Thursday was dedicated to an ongoing refurbishment project where we continued to provide electrical support to our client. Additionally, we mounted and installed the receiver for a Starlink internet installation, ensuring a seamless connection for our client’s online needs.
Friday – Testing, Repairs, and Bathroom Refurbishment
Friday was a day filled with various smaller tasks. We conducted testing and certification of work completed recently to ensure everything was in compliance with safety standards. We fixed a broken switch, installed IP-rated lights in a bathroom to ensure safety in wet conditions, and initiated the electrical work for a bathroom refurbishment project. In addition, we fitted two new lights in a pub cellar and addressed issues with dimmer switches and kitchen pendant lights for a customer, ensuring their spaces were well-lit and functional.
