These Terms of Engagement (the “Terms”) apply to all work and services provided by JTH Electrics (the “Company”) to its customers. By providing verbal or written consent to commence work, you agree to these Terms, which form a binding agreement between you and the Company. These Terms are subject to change at any time, and any changes will be posted on our website.
Scope of Work
The Company will provide the services outlined in the proposal or estimate provided to you. The scope of work may be amended by mutual agreement between you and the Company, but any changes must be confirmed in writing.
Payment
Payment for all services provided by the Company must be made in full upon receipt of the final invoice. Failure to pay the final invoice within 30 days of receipt may result in additional fees and charges, including late payment fees and collection costs.
Cancellation
If you wish to cancel or postpone the work after you have provided verbal or written consent, you must notify the Company as soon as possible. Any costs or expenses incurred by the Company as a result of the cancellation or postponement will be charged to you.
Sub Contractors
JTH Electrics may employ subcontractors for certain tasks. Each subcontractor will possess the necessary qualifications, and their work will undergo thorough inspection and validation by the Qualified Supervisor (QS) of JTH Electrics.
Liability
The Company will use reasonable care and skill in carrying out the work, but it accepts no liability for any damage, loss, or injury arising from its work, except where such damage, loss, or injury is caused by the negligence or breach of contract of the Company.
Intellectual Property
The Company retains ownership of all intellectual property rights in any material created by the Company in the course of providing its services, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, and any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
